The Book of Wolsal

This is a new personal art project I'm starting where I will be taking a copy of The Book Of Mormon and drawing on every single page until the entire book has been transformed into an art book. 

This will feature pages featuring various sins against the Church of Latter Day Saints since the entire religion is a sexist, transphobic, homiphobic, racist, ableist, and pedophilic cult. 

This art project is a protest against everything that Mormonism* stands for as well as a fun challenge for me. I hope you enjoy!

*Disclaimer: This project is not an inditement on Christianity/religion as a whole. So long as religion isn't being used to spread misinformation, hatred, oppression, violence, control, greed, and division, I don't really care. If it is being used for any of those purposes, I am against the practice. 

 Mormonism specifically is inherently and intrinsically a cult and cannot be practiced ethically. For more information, please check out Alyssa Grenfell, she's a fantastic ex-Mormon educator and I'd highly recommend watching her videos and/or reading her book to learn more as she is far more educated on this topic than I ever could be.
